Terrible service
What can I say to make you AVOID Hampton Cars! I bought a car and was give a warranty with it. The car developed an ABS fault within the time covered by the warranty, so I called to sort the problem. It took almost 2 weeks to get through to the staff, who deals with returns and issues such as mine. He tried to tell me the warranty only covered the engine, gearbox and starter motor and nothing else. However they covered a faulty lock under the warranty previously (again with some trouble reaching them, and some reticence regarding cover and impolite remarks towards my wife over the phone). The staff have cursed and shouted over me to try to make me hang up. He also tried to tell me the ABS fault (light on dash) wouldn't fail MOT, and that I am not covered under any of the Consumer Rights Laws. PLEASE AVOID. They are dreadful to deal with. Overall, extremely poor communication, disgusting customer service and quite frankly very rude and abuse over the phone.
