We bought a 1 series hatchback in March. It was a pleasant transaction. Unfortunately, we had a catastrophic failure of the clutch/dual mass flywheel after three weeks. It turned out that the warranty was invalid for the clutch as the car had more than the stated miles for a clutch so we were potentially ~£1200 out of pocket. We contacted TradeLink and even though the warranty was invalid we came to a very agreeable deal, with the TradeLink refunding ~£850. You always take a chance buying a second hand car. We accepted that, especially with a high mileage car. The sign of a good dealer is when something goes wrong and you can get a good resolution. They guys did this for us so we are happy with the service they provided.
