Check the MOT certificate

Spent 3/4 of a day doing a two hour job because of the short staffing. Decidied on a car but wanted to check the MOT for any advisories - was shown a certificate and I was stupid enough to not realise that it was an out of date one but I did comment on how glad I was that there were no advisories - the Salesman agreed with me. I bought the car and when I was perusing all the documents at home, I realised that I had not picked up on the fact that the MOT I was given was an expired one - I emailed asking for the latest one and was surprised, and disappointed, to see that there were 3 advisories on the new one - I then asked if they had been attended to and got a very nasty and abrupt non answer to my question and all semblance of courtesy and friendliness vanished instantly. Buyer beware!
