Big Mistake!
Purchased my twin wheel ex police Mercedes crew bus in March 2017. Cost inc vat (got them down £500) £8994. It came with loads of service history bar the last 6 months or so. Alarm bells should have rang then. Engine management light came on when I drove it home to Birmingham. That light has come on at least twice a month since the date of purchase. It is now Nov 2017 and I'm about to pay out another £2500 on a reconditioned automatic gearbox. This is on top of countless other repairs I've already paid out for. New radiator, oil cooler, alternator, battery, and at least 3 diagnostic tests to find out the cause of various other problems. I'm self employed and never did I imagine that a vehicle could cause me so much stress. I've lost work, had the added stress of RAC recovery and quite simply have no faith in the vehicle. Around £4000 give or take spent on problems since purchase. Force just sell what they get given at the end of the day. My advice to you... there are better vans out there to be had. Be patient and you'll find one.
