Never activated warranty

Cars engine light came on shortly after buying and i said id get in touch to follow up on the warranty. Its been months and i have not had any luck getting them to talk over the phone. I then get the export certificate and find the car was salvaged. I asked them was it ever in an accident and they said 'no' it was in very good condition. STAY AWAY.
