KEEP AWAY FROM THIS GARAGE!
PLEASE READ!! KEEP WELL AWAY!!! Traded my car in for a covertable, paid my deposit and was told to pick it up the following week as it required a MOT and valet as it was dirty inside, it had a big nail in one of the front flat tyres but i was assured by Kyle that "it will be like a new car when you pick it up sir". then a couple of days later i got a call from Kyle saying the clutch was slipping and they will have to fit a new one. when i went to pick the car up at the time agreed it wasn't ready, apparently I had turned up too early! so after a hours journey there i then had to wait 4 hours until my car would be ready. when i got there Kyle was basically giving it a quick rinse instead of a wash and the inside was as dirty as when i went to view it but there was more excuses why! on my way home the engine management light come on and in that evening it rained and the car was like a swimming pool and i had a flat tyre. i didnt receive a MOT cert but was told there was one in the few documents i had. when i checked online the car had failed its MOT on front both shocks leaking oil and a few other things with advisorys (making the car not roadworthy / legal) but then it had passed at a different garage 20 miles away in bradford!! with no advisorys!! In the same day!! hmmmm! so i got the car fully checked at my local garage who said it hadn't had a new clutch and the front shocks hadn't been touched and that it was unsafe to drive! so then i phoned Kyle and he said the garage didnt have time to do the work and the garage that apparently did the work are a garage they havn't used before! I asked for my car and money back but they would not give it me! I then had to book another day off work to take the car back and they gave me a Seat Altea as a courtesy car (that they have for sale on ebay which also ran like a bag of nails) and i had to wait over a week before i could pick mine up. when i got there i inspected the car,i was told by Kyle they had to spend 650 and made it sound like i should be thankful!! The shocks had been done, they had plugged the tyre with the nail in, it looked like they had used compressed air to open up the drains to let the water out which left the inside of the car covered in grit and dirt and dirty water stains all over the inside! it was still wet through in the footwells and the new grey matts i had put in were black with oil and dirt. i asked Kyle if there was any receipts and was told i would have to contact the garage that carried out the work. So my partner said "lets just clean it when we get home" which i decided to do. on the way home the engine management light had come back on and the car still doesn't run right, this was on sunday 8/10/17. I will be taking this further with VOSA and legal action! PLEASE DO NOT CONSIDER BUYING A CAR FROM THEM!!
