Was sold a car with a full MOT that, 2 months down the line, was found to be unfit for purpose. Paid over £2000 for the vehicle that needed in excess of £2500 repairs. Paid on a credit card, therefore got a full refund. The seller suggested we were lying about the issues and wouldn't refund. The vehicle was inspected independently by the credit card company and all faults were confirmed and further faults found. The vehicle had to be scrapped. Have all paperwork to back this up.
