Bought a used Audi A4 Avant here. On the test drive it was clear that the brakes were in need of attention, possibly new discs. I agreed to buy it with that work having been undertaken. The salesman assured me that it would go "through the workshop" and all would be rectified. On collection, however, it was clear that this work hadn't been done at all. Eventually the service manager agreed to test drive the car and reluctantly agreed that all 4 discs needed replacing. This was done but to my utter horror they had used pattern parts. Even as a layman I know pattern parts don't work well with VW group products. Suffice to say this didn't cure the problem and the car was returned for further work along with another brake warning light fault. Upon collection, again, nothing had been fixed and whilst the car parked at the dealership it suffered panel damage in the car park. They arranged for a local dent repairer to fix this, but the damage was over the wheel arch and needed a body shop. In pure exaspiration I drove the car away never to return. In 34 years of driving and having owned 71 cars I have never come across such gross incompetence.
