Appalling customer service
I bought my car from Robins & Day Newcastle so can't comment on the sales team at Gateshead. However, I have used the Gateshead branch several times for services/repairs. The first time I went there they only half serviced my car - I had left it there all day for a service and when I went to collect it, they discovered that they had forgotten to finish the job. I was also dissatisfied with the treatment I received when trying to book the car in for a repair. Robins and Day have no regard whatsoever for their customers and seem to think nobody goes to work and that everybody can just pop in anytime. Having booked my car in for a Friday because I had a day off work, I do not appreciate being told three days before that the part is now not available until next week - and that they want payment in advance!!!!!!! Robins and Day also seem to think it's acceptable to completely ignore emails from customers. I have tried contacting them on numerous occasions through the contact form on their website and got absolutely no response. Trying to contact them by phone is inconvenient due to the ridiculous number of options to go through.
