Very Disappointed

I bought a £6.5K car just over three months ago from Motor City. From day one there was a problem with the car blowing out white smoke. Initially, I was told it had been run low on fuel so is probably just soot blowing out. Wanting to believe them I continued driving it but nothing changed. They agreed to have a look at it. The mechanic they use struggled to find it but eventually did, it was the dpf. To fix it he removed one from another car and put it on mine, in my opinion, it really should have been a new one. When I got the car back there was a dent in the rear quarter panel, I showed Dave the dent, his response was it's only a small one. it's hardly noticeable, he didn't want to entertain sorting it out. I didn't pursue it because I didn't want the mechanic held responsible for it. The just about a week before the 3-month warranty runs out I take the car back as it's losing water. They said take it to the mechanic which I did and he diagnosed a faulty water pump. I told Motorcity is was the water pump and basically, they didn't want to know, initially saying they wouldn't cover it as it was a replaceable item?????? LOL. I said they really need to or they will not get a positive review from me to which then I was promised calls back from Dave or someone else which I never received. I gave them a deadline to call me back which in total was a week after I raised the issue. I received a text the morning of the deadline saying I would get a callback, that was yesterday, it never came. It cost me £145 total for a good water pump, fluid, and the labour. I warned them that it will end up costing them much more in lost sales by sorting out this fault but the reality is they just want to sell cars and make their profit, truthfully they are not 100% behind customer satisfaction. By the way, I purchased a very reliable branded car, so don't think you won't have any issues if you spend £5-10K on a car. Do what they do, go the auction and the buy the car yourself, budget to pay a few hundred to sort any possible problems and save yourself a whole lot of money. If I have any major issues with my car I will get a solicitor and pursue them through the sale of goods act. I will say, Mohammed, I know you're just doing your job. Dave, it's a real shame you didn't sort this out for me. This is an honest review of the facts of my experience at Motorcity Peterborough.
