Good service. Questionable aftermath

Good service at Kingsgate Motor Company, car well presented. Set up my road tax for me when I was picking up. Slightly iffy aftermath when a few faults reared their heads. Went back and they basically passed the buck on to the 'independent garage' that looked the car over prior to sale. I repeatedly had to drive 50+ mile round trips to the garage from my home in Edinburgh to get the car seen to. Air conditioning has been repaired at the dealerships expense which is great but the garage refused to admit the further issues were worth doing anything about so I'm left to deal with a suspension knock and a gear selection issue myself at my own expense and effort. This I wouldn't have minded as much if they had been willing to come down a bit in price. Love the car, and reasonable enough guys to deal with and fair play they sorted what could have been an expensive repair at their expense but they need to find themselves a better garage to use as apparently they "couldn't find fault with anything else" and I'm left with a spanner sorting my gearbox out myself.
