SOLD DUFF CAR

I purchased an audi tt for my wife from Long Eaton Motor Company. Despite offering only £200 below the asking price the car was delivered with a fat battery that was defunct. They did change this however I was very disappointed that this was not sorted beforehand. I had the vehicle inspected and it was deemed to be unsafe to drive..the following work had to be completed - abs sensor £100...brake flexis £230...cv gaiter clip £90...rear coil spring £100...this was just to make the car safe to drive..i also had to have a new air pipe £141...rocker cover gasket £40...new dipstick £15.....they claimed to have performed a service on the vehicle prior to purchase and stamped the book..however a service was not completed and they ticked the oil change box in the service book but did not put anywhere near enough oil in it..at which point they would have realised that the dipstick was broken in two..utter shambles of a purchase. I never bothered taking the car back to them as the shambles with the service demonstrated to me that they couldn't be relied on...DO NOT GO HERE.
