When I paid the deposit the vehicle mileage was recorded at 33403. I collected the car just over a week later having received confirmation that the loan had been transferred to the dealers account. I was told by the dealer it had been removed from their forecourt and stored inside their premises in the interim and that they were now glad to free up the space. I noticed after I arrived home with it that there was an additional 250 miles on the clock. They had clearly been using it for their own use and it had obviously not been sitting on their premises as they had claimed. A month before the final payment was due on the car I had to have the instrument cluster replaced at a total cost of £850. This was not factored into the finance arrangement.
