complete lack of communication
Bought a little fiat for my son from these guys on the Monday they told me pick it up Tuesday so they could go over it , they then rang up on the Wednesday and said the car was over heating and i would get it Saturday and said they would keep me up to date , which they didn't i then rang them to find out it was the head gasket and they would sort it by Saturday. Fast forward to Saturday we go get the car and get told the head was skimmed a new gasket was fitted and a new cam-belt (no proof it was done though) . After getting three quarters of the way home the car overheated (even though they had sorted it Supposedly) so i rang them back and they couldn't understand why it was doing it and that they would ring back Monday to get it sorted (needless to say no phone Call even three days later) in mean time a mechanic friend told me it was the Thermostat and has no idea why they wouldn't have tried this first as its the main culprit. needless to say Ive given up on this dealer/garage and the my friend has fitted a new thermostat and surprise surprise the car is now no longer over heating. £11.11 problem solved and me wondering about these guys capability of doing their job and with the lack of communication i wouldn't recommend Broadland Service Centre.
