Not what you expect from a Dealership
Seen the car I wanted at FS Performance Ltd, agreed a price and drove down from Birmingham 2 days later. Met Sol, who I cannot fault at all. He showed me around the car, we went through the paperwork and I drove the car home the same day. It wasn't until driving the car I realised a few things that I don't think you should expect when buying from a dealer: 1. Alloys were in a serious need for a refurb, this could not be detected on the pictures and was not in the description, I proceeded to buy anyway. 2. The car mats in the car were not BMW. In fact, I do not think they were even for that model at all as this was constantly affecting my driving as the mat in the drivers seat kept slipping up and down on the pedals. I removed these when I got home and ordered replacements. 3. The car had no fuel, I had to go and fill up almost immediately. It was then I noticed that the fuel cap was broken and needed replacing. 4. A bit of rain invited me to use the window wipers. The wipers were very squeaky and left streaks of water on the window screen, and when replacing them a couple of days after I seen that they were rusty all over. 5. I think you presume a car will just be cleaned before sold, apparently not. The car looked clean on the outside but the inside had not been cleaned. Inside the centre storage, I found a number of things including toothpaste, toothbrushes and documents with the previous owners full details on. 6. FS Performance left something in the boot of the car which was collected by one of their friends in Birmingham. This wasn't an issue until I have to wait up until past midnight for them to arrive. 7. I noticed the current MOT certificate was missing, I requested this almost 2 weeks ago but am still waiting.
