Shocked

We visited Burford Car Sales to test drive a VW Tiguan. We drove the car around, shown the service history and given some time to think. We really liked the car though compared to others on the market it seemed slightly overpriced. With every intention to purchase the car my husband asked whether there could be any negotiation in the price. The salesman (I think the owner) became so aggressive. I am totally shocked, and after several minutes of my husband discussing any possible extras he remained so aggressive that we left with no purchase and in total shock at such a response.
