Worst experience ever! Do not get a car
Have had the worst experience dealing with Robins and Day in Liverpool. On first signing the paperwork for the lease car, I had been informed by a member of staff on the sales team that the servicing would be in with the price paid monthly, this turned out to be a lie, on complaining about this Peugeot informed me they could not investigate this further as that particular colleague who had sold me the car had left, so it was my word against his. On taking my car in for its second service, I was entitled to a loan car for the day. Arriving at my allocated time of 11 to have the car serviced, I then had to wait an hour for the lease car, as the last customer had not brought it back yet. When I enventually got the loaned car, the interior and exterior was awful! The customer who had it before me worked on building sites and they had not cleaned it afterwards. On mentioning the incident to Robins and Day Liverpool, I was asked to come in and speak to their manager Joel, after taking time off work to go up to speak to him, I rang ahead to make sure I had the time correct of the appointment, only to be told that Joel was out on a training course. I entered into this hire purchase lease agreement with Robins and Day Liverpool, who I believed to be a respectable firm, I would certaining not make the same mistake again! Terrible service from front line staff and managers at this particular dealership. Reply to the owner: unfortunately, a revamp of your services is not working towards fixing problems for unhappy customers such as myself and others who have decided to write a google review. If your company where genuine about having a higher customer satisfaction rate, and by looking at the reviews you have, it should be something your focusing on, as the owner you personally would get in touch with these people, as you should have records of all your customers who have visited and try to work out a solution. As I have previously mentioned in the above comment, I was offered a solution to come down and speak to Joel, and I took time off work to do so, only to find that Joel had 'forgotten' about this appointment. On a further phonecall from Joel I was then told that these situations hardly ever occur with your customers, however, from the written reviews it is evident that, clearly these situations with customers occur a lot more frequently. Therefore I will not be contacting your dealership to visit the showroom in July, as I feel Robins and Day have had their time to correct a number of situations that have occurred with my car lease and have failed to do so each time. I will make sure any future custom, along with my family and friends know what happened and how I was treated. Would also be nice if you had taken the time to read through each individuals problems with the service you and your team have provided, rather than copying and pasting the same message about a 'revamp' every time.
