Terrible customer service
I've used this dealership for my last 3 new fiats and always returned for servicing and accessories, but was astounded this time round by the level of sheer lying involved by the salesman I dealt with. Basically they didn't secure my new car and it was sold to another dealership, which led to 4 weeks of them trying to avoid me while they searched for a new vehicle. When a solution was eventually agreed as a 'sorry' I was offered some minor things like a set of mats, discount on a boot liner, and some paint protection system, all of which would have cost Platts next to nothing but would have satisfied by anger to that point. They even screwed me out of these as the mats I was 'given' as a sorry I later discovered came as standard with the model anyway, the paint protection system was meant to come with a special pack of aftercare treatments, and I never received any discount email as promised. Nothing is ever written down with Platts, they rarely phone you back when they promise to, prepare to get increasingly frustrated at the miserable secretary that shows no interest in your problems, all in all a horrible, confusing, time wasting, frustrating, angry, stressful experience, I've even written then a lengthy email complaint that they couldn't be bothered to even respond to. Please DO NOT USE Platts garage. And for some reason you do, please please demand every slight detail is put into writing as they simply lie !
