AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!! I was looking to buy my first car from russell street motors the first issue was the car needed new front discs at a cost of over £600 which at first ussan an employee at russell street motors refused to do until I asked for my deposit back that should've been my first clue so I travel down from Glasgow where ussan meets me at the airport & seems like a genuine guy tells me it's his fathers business we arrive at a garage were the car that am paying 15k for is sitting unvaleted he says he'll get it watched & put some petrol in it he does neither then we then go to the office I drive the car it seems fine this car has an smg gear box which I'd never driven before ussan says this car rarely uses first gear another clue there so I pay the 15k upfront & get 6 month warranty & head home after a couple of weeks the computer system in the car starts working when it feels like I phone ussan who fobs me off with some story that the car needs to be driven more I take the car to a BMW specialist turns out the car needs a new battery at a cost of £190 the car also needed bulbs & oil at a cost of £100 then after 10 weeks the car starts to jerk into gear needing a new clutch costing me £1050 the warranty company won't cover it so I call ussan asking if he'll help me out with it he try's to blame the warranty company after 5 mins of repeating myself ussan finally says you'll need the ask the owner of russell street motors I ask who is the owner he said my uncle I say thought it was your father he tell me that his uncle & father are the same thing which I find very odd so now I have no choice but to get trading standards involved but in the mean time am down £1050 Take my advice avoid russell street motors
