Honest dealer, who goes the extra mile

We bought a Volvo V5 from Leon Motors on 13th April 2017. A one owner vehicle with low mileage and looking in tip top condition. As part of the deal, Leon supplied us with a new cam belt kit and water pump, to be fitted by our own choice of technician, as and when required. After driving home from Sheffield to Oldham, the car didn`t seem to be running too well (intermittent misfiring) and had developed a whooshing / hissing sound from somewhere in the engine. A full service to the vehicle was undertaken in the hope that this would rectify any problems. Unfortunately it didn`t and on Mayday bank holiday the car lost all power and a red warning light appeared on the dashboard. I contacted Leon and booked the car in to a Volvo specialist and paid for a diagnostic test, which showed a new Lambda sensor was required, but they could not find the hissing sound without further investigation(at a cost). Leon suggested that they investigate further and he would cover an hour`s labour to find the problem. The outcome was that an induction pipe had split and needed replacing. The car was fitted with a new sensor, new induction pipe, including labour, which Leon stated, (not to worry) he would cover at his own cost. And true to his word, this he most generously did. I find it most reassuring, that in my years of dealing with motor traders, I have at last found a truly honest and trustworthy person as Leon who will not make you any false promises, who cares about customer satisfaction and will never let you down A truly honest professional who stands out and more importantly stands by his word. Highly recommended in my opinion, for a safe and honest deal.
