Took deposit before agreed time

in my opinion this business is fraudulent as a deposit was taken from my account before the agreed time which was agreed. Having spoken to the dealer briefly was told in his words (would see what he can do) for which I found very unhelpful as the company had taken £200 from my account and not received any goods services or a receipt. I could understand maybe a percentage for admin but very excessive to try to keep the money and refuse to answer my calls I run my own business and wouldn't do anything like this to my customers on principal.
