Reneged on a verbal agreement

There were several outstanding faults with vehicle (RE10XTA) a Hyundai Santé Fe however after agreeing to get these outstanding faults fixed, I agreed to buy a vehicle from Eagle Motors. (I had a verbal agreement with the manager and his assistant). These issues were commented on both an AA report and advisories on a MOT which was completed on the day of purchase. As said, I discussed these issues with the manager and because of the distance from my house to Eagle Motors garage it was agreed that I would take it to my local garage get an estimate and get the faults rectified. Basically it had 2 suspension issues and a damaged CV Boot. Suspension Faults. 1, a faulty lower front ball joint. 2, when travelling over an uneven road surface there was a knocking noise at the rear. The CV Boot was not just damaged but inside gaiter was split in two with all the grease spilling out and this too had to be replaced. It also required a service which was almost due at the time of purchase but I agreed to pay for the service and they were going to pay for the repairs, this was our agreement. I gave Eagle Motors the estimated cost for the repairs and agreed to get them done and send them the invoice for their part of the bill. The lower ball joint was changed and the rear suspension noise turned out to be worn D Bushes so these were replaced and the invoice for the work was sent to Eagle Motors Ltd back in August last year. Despite dozens of texts, emails, calls and numerous letters they have still not paid or fulfilled their part of our agreement. I have texts which they acknowledge their part of this agreement but they still have not paid a penny towards the repairs. Texts sent by me and their reply from my phones text records. “Monday 24 October 201611:49 (Me) I thought I could trust you to keep your end of our bargain and stick to your word but it looks like you have no intention of honouring your end and keeping your word. Get your boss or you to call me if you have any decency. 11:52 (Eagle Motors) Eagle Motors Ltd 07496334016 Sir we been busy this whole time I'll let him to call you when he get the time it's not that we forget you, your money is yours we not gonna keep it and just for £265 we don't want our bad impression in the market so he will call u when he get the time. Thanks (Remember they had the invoice the previous August.) Still to this date 06/0417 no payment has been made, I have copies of all correspondence and text messages between myself and Eagle motors, AA and MOT reports and the original invoice plus photos of the CV boot’ So buyers please, be very aware of dealing with this company because once they have your money their customer service ends. Do not rely on their word, get any agreement with these people in writing and signed by them to be certain. They do not keep their word. Auto trader and Citizens Advice have been contacted and their advice has been followed.
