Disappointed customer...
I identified a car RAF Cars Ltd had for sale, spoke with the dealer assured me everything was superb. As i would be travelling quite a distance I asked many questions to avoid wasting valuable time; again the dealer assured me they rarely get cars in this good. So after much research and questioning of the dealer about the vehicle I paid a deposit over the phone and arranged travel. On arriving the car was most certainly not as the dealer stated; lots of issues: Tyres had chunks out of the side walls. Parking sensors didn't work - not informed, yet the car was prepared for sale Sat nav and stereo didn't work - not informed, yet the car was prepared for sale The vehicle had had some paintwork done which I wasn't informed of. I did ask this. Front grill was cracked - not visible on photographs Engine covers missing - not informed Under-tray from engine bay missing - not informed headlamp bulb needed replacing - yet the car was prepared for sale Rear reversing light not working - yet the car was prepared for sale Wing mirror cracked - yet the car was prepared for sale As I had paid a sizable deposit I had a choice to either walk away or take the car - the dealer didn't want to take responsibility for resolving any of the issues. I took the car and the financial hit to get all of the issues resolved myself - probably between £500 and a thousand. My advice would be to stay well clear of RAF Cars Ltd; they failed to disclose the many issues even though asked numerous times over the phone. Just go elsewhere....
