I bought a car from VIP Car sales in September 2016, but took it back several times after experiencing a fault. I eventually left it there so they could fix it; they even promised a replacement engine. I SORN'd it because I knew it was going to take a while; hey, why pay road tax? I stopped the insurance, too; hey, what's the point? They lent me a courtesy car, that's why. Oh, btw, I learnt that after paying Gleave for six month's worth of road tax, he pocketed the money and I was driving around without tax and thus obviously not insured. TAX FRAUD! After SIX months of being given the runaround, I learnt that Gleave was arrested. Both the police and liquidators confirmed that my car was NOT on site when they seized all vehicles. Remember that I SORN'd it? Well, I recently learnt that someone had taxed it a few weeks ago! Someone, somewhere, has my car. Gleave had obviously sold it without my permission.
