I purchased a Toyota yaris for 4k. 3 months later the engine exploded at 60mph. recovered by rac and taken to nearest Toyota dealership Newport Wales. told joe who was eager to help collect and first a new engine. I thought was odd as 3 months since purchase. he said 10 days you'll have it back....well 3 months later eventually got it back. 5 weeks later gearbox and engine blew. tired of this blokes lies I offered to pay Toyota to fully inspect the car. they refused payment and we're more than willing to do it for free as they believed something illegal had been done to the engine. low and behold it was a 1.2 engine sold as 1.4 but computer had been reprogrammed to give a higher bhp making it feel like a 1.4. little did we know we were destroying the engine. Toyota said they'll be pursuing something for themselves but we were screwed. I had my family in the car as it swerved through all the oil on the motorway!
