How is this company still trading?

My niece bought her first car from Tony Brooks of Northampton, and they clearly saw her coming. No log book, service history or spare key was supplied. When she asked about them, she was told to look on ebay! The car quickly developed problems, so she returned to the store, and was told they were down to 'wear and tear'. What dreadful service. I know business is business, but I think it's rather immoral to hoodwink a new young driver in this way. A mechanic friend of mine had a look at it and was utterly shocked at the cost of the car, claiming it should have been on sale at at least a third less - if at all. Now, after 18 months of driving this junk-box, she wants to trade the car in, and guess what? She's been offered less than 20% of what she paid (this is from several garages). An utter disgrace.
