Absolutely terrible
What was supposed to a nice gift to my partner turned into a complete nightmare when I purchased a car from Jardine Motors Audi in Hitchin. Staff were rude, unorganised and the used car I purchased riddled with problems. Despite an apparent 145 point check, we drove away with a car which had a cracked windscreen (instant MOT fail), faulty handbrake (which nearly caused a serious accident with a young child onboard). It required a new a windscreen, new exhaust, new timing chain, handbrake adjustment, 2 new tyres (we drove away with 2 slow punctures), alloy refurbs, new boot handle and still we have issues with brakes and wheel balance. Original documents were also lost. To top it off, the company still believes this is satisfactory. Absolutely, without a shadow of a doubt, the worst company... not just car dealership... I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. As you can imagine my partner is over the moon with her gift which spent 1.5 weeks in the garage within the first few weeks of ownership. To add insult to injury, they feel a couple of free services (which we probably won't use because we won't own the car that long) is ample compensation. Jardine Motors is a franchise so don't expect the Audi standard.
