Didn't fix our car and didn't care
We took our Honda FRV to Rowes Honda in Truro to be fixed last week. Despite a phone call to say the car was ready and fixed at 3 pm, when we turned up at 4.30 it was still being worked on. We were kept waiting for 45 minutes. When we finally got the car back, we drove it for 10 minutes and then the engine completely failed - which was the problem it was taken in for. I was driving it up hill at the time and on a blind corner, with my disabled foster children in the back. All pretty terrifying. Rowes showed no concern when I contacted them. We were told they had run a diagnostic check which showed the car needed new clutch switches. My husband had expressed his concern earlier that this did not tally with the way the car had been behaving. He was completely ignored. Our contact at Rowes did not call back when he had promised and had to be chased repeatedly before telling us that Rowes had done everything they could with the car. Extremely poor service and a callous disregard for their customers. We are pursuing a complaint.
