Very Good Service for new Motability car

Having experienced (well-known) gearbox trouble with my last Ford Motability car after under a year, despite many visits and the fact it was still under warranty, Ford refused to fix it. So contacted Motability and they basically said 'get your paperwork together and go and find another car'. We always keep an eye on what's going on with cars so had an idea that the Mokka might be the one for us. Called in there in August last year and had a look at the Mokka and met Bruce Muirfield. Called again next day to say we were quite keen and he arranged a test drive for us (which made our mind up) but said that there weren't too many about as the Mokka X was due out later in the year. So we decided to order that there and then and just wait until it was in and put up with the Ford until it arrived. Due date he said would be around Christmas but, for various reasons it didn't arrive until January, no problem. We did have a bit of a hiccup with sorting out getting our personal number plate put on the car for pickup day and then with getting the OnStar to work but Bruce managed to get all this under control eventually. We do, however, wonder if some of the problems may have been caused by the early termination of the Ford contract as we didn't receive any of the usual pre-changeover documents from Motability and we've never been in this position before with any of the other 6 cars we've had through them. Nevertheless all is OK now, we love the car and I'd really like to say 'thankyou' to all and especially to Bruce who's been extremely helpful and good-humoured throughout the whole process.
