Do not deal with him

I was going to purchase to purchase a Ford Mondeo worth £5000 from here in November 2016, after making an initial deposit of £200 and agreeing to purchase the car I was told that it would be a few days before it would be ready as it needed an M.O.T. When the car was ready for collection I contacted the seller to arrange a date and time for collection. I arrived for collection on the date and time arranged but he was not there. I tried calling the mobile number and house number but too no avail, I waited for at least 45 minutes but the seller never materialized. I went back home which I add is about 50 or 60 miles away maybe more, I never heard anything back that day from him. I tried calling him the next day but yet again got no answer, it was only when I sent him an e-mail from his web page that he answered. Stating that his phone didn't work when i called him and didn't get any missed calls even though I tried calling him lots of times. He then offered to deliver the car to me but I declined as I was not willing to deal with someone who could not keep to agreements. He got very rude on the phone and hung up. I sent him a letter stating I wanted my deposit back and that by not being there he had broken his contract. He replied Saying that the deposit was to cover M.O.T and other things and got quite rude in his letter being very disrespectful to my partner. He offered me £100 of my deposit back which I accepted so I sent him another Letter stating I would be willing to accept the £100 but as yet I have still not heard back from him nearly 3 months later. DO NOT deal with this guy he seems genuine when you first meet him but in fact in my opinion he is RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL.I am just glad that I never paid for the car fully upfront!!
