Shocking!!

I travelled 80 miles to look at a van. When we arrived there was no one there even though I had previously booked the appointment. After finally getting someone to the office I had a look at the vehicle and took it for a test drive, I loved it and paid a cash deposit. I had then arranged to collect the vehicle two weeks later. This is when the trouble started. They told me the turbo had gone on he van, seemed strange as when I had the test drive it seemed fine. Another week went by with a lot of one way communication, eventually I spoke to someone and they told me they would not sell the van to me as hey would lose money on the deal. I thought this was not great but understood they needed to recover their money after supposedly replacing the turbo. They said they would refund my deposit which I accepted. Three weeks later and many phone calls and emails I still have not received the deposit. I have now informed theme that I will be going to the small claims court to recover my money. Advice stay away from EMM Performance and Prestige.
