Fobbed off and sold a pup

DON’T GO NEAR THIS DEALER. The clutch felt weird and wobbly underfoot on the test drive and I also asked for wheels to be balanced. 11th Nov '16. (I found out £669 later that the 'Dual Mass Flywheel' was seizing up). Promises to fix these by collection date on the 18th were unfulfilled. Returned car for inspection on 21st Nov. The mechanic test drove car and confirmed something was definitely wrong with the clutch system and 'leave it with us over the weekend'. I Collected car 25th. Nothing was done and told it was 'Just a sheen' on the clutch plate it would be alright. It was not. Took car to a clutch specialist on 27th who confirmed fault in writing ("there is a problem with the dual mass flywheel"). I Wrote asking for refund on 28th with request for refund within 14 days. I actually visited M.A. to ask if they would change the clutch. Then I received a Solicitors letter saying 'don't visit the branch again and refused my request for refund, citing it was just 'wear and tear'. I took car to tire dealers for wheel balancing on 16th (the other promise not kept, after I had covered just 500 MILES!) I was mortified to be informed that all tires had bald patches (on inside tread). To be able to legally drive the car I had to change all four tires! I then Wrote another letter before my right to claim refund expired on the 18th Oct again giving 14 days to respond adding tire dealers assessment. Phoned dealers solicitor 30th and requested refund. He said a flat NO. It was just acceptable wear and tear. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED - DON'T GO NEAR THIS DEALER!
