Bought a Renault Clio estate from Cornwall Trade Centre which was just what we wanted. Took it for a test Drive and it was fine. When we picked it up it had the most terrible rattling noise. We took it back to the after sales at Dales who agreed that there was a noise but fobbed us off with the excuse that it was a second hand car and we should expect noises and there was nothing wrong with the car.. still not happy we asked for our money back but they refused and still said there was nothing wrong with the car. After complaining to the managing director they offered as a "gesture a good will". They would repair the car even though they said there was nothing wrong with it. And bear in mind the car was sold with six months Gold warranty. We took the car in to after sales which they kept for 2 days it had new shock absorbers, new brake pads, 2 new link rods LH suspension kit and centralised the steering not bad considering they told us twice there was nothing wrong with the car. And all cars according to their website is given a 29 point check before they are sold. We are now stuck with a car we have no confidence in at all. Do not buy from these people
