I was happy to have won an EBay auction on a vehicle being sold by the Penton Motor Group. After several communications I made a lengthy trip to collect the vehicle from Poole on a pre arranged day. The car was not in road worthy working order and a solution to the complaint was not offered, even though it was implied that it's previous owner had only just driven it in; this then resulted in me getting a last minute multi stop return trip home - a 13 hour day! I did in fact speak to several members of staff and obtain email addresses for senior managers, but it was only after I contacted Citroën UK that I was able to get an email address for the dealer principal who responded (5 non answered emails and over 2 months later!). During this time, as they had not responded to the EBay resolution team either accepting responsibility for my dissatisfaction or not, it allowed them to remove my EBay review and comments; making me more exasperated. The dealer principal highlighted their disclaimers and in fact did explain the problem of the faults, which could have been sorted in my presence. They did not make any offer to reimburse my £180 travel costs.
