I emailed woodland carriage company regarding a Range Rover Evoque they have for sale. I asked for a walk around video to be emailed, so that I could view the condition of the bodywork and the wheels. I also requested confirmation of the HPI & the service history. Steve Paice replied that he would forward all the information to me. However after 2 day of waiting I phoned the company. I was told (by Paul) that Steve was off work due to sickness, therefore a video could not be emailed to me. I was advised that the vehicle was in excellent condition and that all the other information would be emailed to me. I did receive confirmation of the service history and based on the information provided my partner made the decision to make the 3 hour journey to view the vehicle with the intention of buying it. I made sure that the company was aware of the day & time that my partner would arrive. When my partner arrived he was astonished to find that the Evoque was covered in mud, there were scratches to the bodywork & wheels, the milage was 3000 above that advertised on the website & the interior had not been valeted. No explanation or apology was offered. The customer services my partner received was unsatisfactory. My partner was bitterly disappointed and made the 3 hour return journey home. Based on this I could not recommended this company to anyone.
