I phoned twice before travelling to see if they would be happy taking my higher value car in part exchange (2012 vw tiguan)(for loan settlement). both times I was reassured that this was no issue. so I travel for 2.5 hours, as I walk in the showroom, there is one salesman with his feet on the desk playing on his mobile. wasn't greeted. so another salesman gave me the keys to have a look around the car. The car was in un-driveable condition. all 4 discs were completely worn, no way would they have passed an MOT (also worrying for a car that only had 40k on it). there were also several other bits missing (mirror indicator lenses also an MOT failure). When I went back in to ask for a test drive the salesman then stated 'actually, we wont be interested in taking your vw tiguan in part ex, its too new and too low mileage ' So I had wasted 5 hours and £45 of fuel for something that could've been discussed over the phone!!! No wonder their ratings are terrible! just wish id checked before travelling (lesson learnt I guess!)
