I had about the worst possible experience with Burnham Motor Village. To anyone considering dealing with them, I would recommend using extreme caution. The car I bought turned out to be unroadworthy, and cost the best part of £1000 to make it safe to drive. They also sold me a warranty that they never registered, so that was another £200 down the drain. Worst of all, shortly after buying the car they decided that they'd undercharged me and used their chip-and-pin machine to take an additional £1000 from my account! They were completely unwilling to resolve the matter and did not respond to any of my letters, so I had no choice but to take the matter to the courts. I was eventually able to get all the money back, but they used every trick in the book to stall the payment of the money they owed. My advice would be to avoid them, but if they really do have the car of your dreams at a price that's right: 1. Get an AA/RAC inspection on it before you buy it. 2. Don't allow them access to any information about your bank accounts. 3. Keep all of the receipts in a safe place, you'll probably need them.
