Stressful experience start to finish
Complete lack of customer care and unprofessional Shockingly bad after service by this company. Have been planning to leave a review since Xmas when we bought an Audi but it was such a stressful experience I couldn’t bring myself to do it. Too much to detail on here but will bullet point some issues. Car delivered no paperwork at all except a previous log book but not latest one just one found inside owner manual. No receipt at all despite payment being made in full. Only one key despite two in advert. No valve caps or car mats Supposed to be AA warranty checked but we had serious doubts as brakes and calliper needed doing within a few weeks. The biggest problem with this garage was trying to get hold of them. When I did after much persistence, Dan promised the earth and was very apologetic BUT a few days later I’d be having the same conversation again with the same promises made. Threatened with AA complaint dept. No paperwork to prove we owned the car until eventually we had a basic receipt dated 3 months before we actually bought the car!! Log book we waited and waited and kept being promised it had been done yet whenever I checked online it hadn’t been received at DVLA. Lots of phone calls later we received it! With the incorrect name on as they had put middle name as surname! In the end a friend who worked at a local garage sorted it for us as gave up on the dealer. Eventually got a second key paid for as got a copy of the listing off auto trader luckily which showed it in description. After a lot more phone calls got them to pay for brake discs and calliper. Was promised 2 years free AA warranty as a gesture for all the trouble we’d had which has never materialised to this day. Was told they’d ordered new mats off eBay but they must have got delivered to wrong address! Again we bought our own as got fed up of waiting. Was promised sd card for sat nav- still waiting and given up ! I cannot even begin to stress how stressful this experience was and the amount of emails and phone calls and WhatsApp messages this involved. The usual excuse was it was Xmas but it wasn’t Xmas when I bought it only because it dragged out so long. I only ever got through to one person there each time I eventually managed to get through so not sure why that is. The car has needed quite a few things done since buying it mostly brake issues and sensors so we have certainly learnt our lesson to do a lot more research on the dealers. I’ve not a clue how they have such a high review score on here as my experience was diabolical. They honestly didn’t seem to care and everything just seemed very unprofessional. Why would you get a receipt showing you bought a car months before you did and on a scrappy email I just don’t understand if they are a professional trader. Buying a car should never have been that stressful and they need to seriously look at customer care not just ignore people once they have had the money. If you promise something just do it don’t just keep making empty promises! Lesson truly learnt
