odd way to run a business
I was interested in a car i saw on Autotrader. Made and enquiry and was send a walkaround video the following day. Great start i thought. This is where any sort of customer service ended. I had to chase the sales lad a few times to get him to answer any questions about the car and it ended in me asking if they would accept a cash offer only £500 less than the asking price. This was a considerable amount of money which most people would have to raise finance for and i was fortunate to be in a position to make this offer. Absolutely no reply from the sales guy so i emailed the sales manager who also failed to reply. I was surprised by this given the amount of money we are talking about. I refused to chase them any further and bought the same model car at another VW dealership who responded to queries almost immediately and were professional and friendly. The reason for not using Parkway are A) why should i hand over a vast some of money for a car and be the one to have to chase them, it is the other way around this sort of thing works! B) given they could not be bothered to reply, how do you think they would respond if i had any faults with the car after i bought it? glad i didnt use them after seeing the other reviews on here.
