Illegal sales, avoid!
Couldn’t say one good thing about this place. My husband and I bought a Ford Kuga PHEV in May. When we collected the car, we were 10 minutes late due to traffic (called to advise) and were met with a very annoyed salesman for handover. The “valet” was a joke, the car still had wax that had not been buffed-should have been the first red flag. Later that day, we noticed 4 body panels were popped out and we couldn’t get them back in, so I emailed the aftersales team for help. The next day I found out the car was on recall due to safety issues with the battery and it should not be charged or used in EV mode. Ford were working on a fix but didn’t have one as of yet. I emailed the aftersales team again to explain this situation, I was told that Ford would fix it FOC so no worries?? After much back and forth I finally explained that it’s illegal to sell a recalled vehicle under trading standards. To which I was finally offered an alternative vehicle (we obviously declined). We were told they had done their due diligence and they couldn’t check every car had been recalled due to the amount of manufactures they sell-it’s a very simple check! An absolute joke, they sent “proof” and it quite literally showed the recall had not been checked. They have since listed this car back up for sale despite knowing it has been recalled. Reported to trading standards.
