Romeo Romeo, Where Art Thou Romeo?

Romeo informed me that the cost for fitting a suspension wishbone bush, a front shock absorber, and a suspension arm on my car would be £480. Pricey, perhaps—but it is the main dealer, after all. So imagine my surprise when I went to pick up the car later that day and was handed a bill for £740.18. Romeo was nowhere to be found—vanished into thin air—and he's not answering his phone either. Two other employees seemed just as confused and couldn’t explain the sudden price hike. I left feeling completely ripped off and taken for a ride, financially and emotionally. Make of it what you will, but be cautious of any Romeo's you might encounter.
