Very disappointing service

Bought an Approved Used MINI 18 months ago from Williams Manchester. Upon arrival at garage, car was not prepared up to marketed standards (many scratches, cracked windscreen, dirty interior). Had to wait full day before the car was in an ‘acceptable’ state and able to drive away. A short 3,000 miles and 12 months later, warranty expires, now electrical and mechanical problems have been accumulating for 6 months. Lack of car preparation is obvious, dealership unwilling to find a solution. I wonder why I (or anybody else) would pay a premium for Approved Used. Sharing my experience in case it helps others.
