Extremely Poor Experience – Don’t Be Fooled by the Online Apologies Very disappointed with my experience at Parkway Volkswagen. The car I collected was nothing like what was promised. There were paint chips that were supposed to be fixed, swirl marks and scratches all over the bodywork, dog hair left inside the car, and mud under all the wheel arches — completely unacceptable from a main dealer. On top of that, the sales staff were arrogant and dismissive, with a cocky attitude that made it clear they were more interested in closing a sale than providing any genuine customer service. When I raised these issues, I was told over the phone — very clearly — that once the car is driven away, there’s nothing they can do. No apology, no effort to help, just a flat-out refusal to take responsibility. Now I’m seeing their online replies to negative reviews acting “very sorry” and pretending they want to resolve things. That’s not just two-faced — it’s dishonest. If Parkway Volkswagen truly cared, they would’ve handled it properly from the beginning, not just when it became public. Avoid if you want any kind of real aftercare or integrity from your dealer.
