Sold car from under us

Visited Sunday 25/5/25. Found the car we wanted, 7 seater. Both myself, my partner and children all very happy with the vehicle. Spent 2 hours in the showroom with our 3 kids sorting our part exchange valuation and organising finance on the remaining balance. Told the order was placed & car was removed from all sale platforms (auto trader, their website). It was as we'd looked for it again when trying to show family. Told car would be ready Thursday once finance in place and vehicle had been checked & cleaned. Phoned my partner on Tuesday morning to say someone had bought the car on Monday cash. Absolute joke of a company. My partner had one day off to help us choose a car before the arrival of our new baby, on one of the few days I wasn't in hospital with my pre eclampsia. They have also ran a credit check on my partner for absolutely no reason. Just apologies when ringing up to find out about the situation. Ridiculous.
