DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER
I recently purchased a car from BMW's Approved Used section and initially felt pleased with the process. However, everything changed just two hours before my scheduled pick-up. I received a call informing me that there was no service history for the car, despite being assured at the point of sale that it had a full service history.. Realising that the sale was likely falling through, and with a bill of over £40k I tried to sought a resolution from the sales team, as it was clearly their oversight. Unfortunately, they offered me three unsatisfactory options: either hand the car back in, spend an additional £3,000 on a similar but more expensive car or pay for an extended warranty out of pocket. To make matters worse. the sales staff - particularly the Manager Jamie - were condescending and dismissive throughout the entire process, making me feel as though I was to blame for this situation. The only positive I could say in all this was the help of the Customer Services Manager (Georgina) who did try her best to resolve this however had already been let down by her team so a resolution was difficult to come by. I have bought several BMW's from this dealership in the past, but after this experience, I will not be returning. I suggest potential buyers approach with caution and ask for all relevant documents to be seen prior to any agreed sale.
