The Worst Car Buying Experience Ever

The Most APPALLING Experience for buying a car - AVOID AT ALL COSTS My daughter purchased an Audi A1 from this dealership and to say the service is appalling is an understatement. I should have realised when they couldn't get their figures correct in the first place that they would be a disaster! The day we collected the car we arrived to find out that it was locked in their service centre and we had to wait for someone who was on holiday to turn up with the keys. The invoice they produced had the incorrect figures on and said not to worry we will send a new one in the post, we have never had it just pay us the amount you were expecting to pay. The car arrived and it had to be cleaned before we could leave. I drove the car out and a warning light appeared immediately for the pre sense, I drove it straight back and the manager Saad tried to tell me that it might be dirty and give it a couple of days and it could clear, I have had 4 Audi's and it has never happened before? The day after my daughter drove the car and the pre sense light kept coming on and as she went through some width restrictions the car just breaked automatically, the car should never have been released as it was clearly not prepared and ready to go. I complained to Reda(salesman) and Saad (manager) and they said they would book it into my local Audi centre, they confirmed the booking was for the Wednesday 1st but when I arrived I was told that it has not been booked in, there was confusion with the date as it said the 1st which this was the Thursday, but no booking was found for either day. They said they would try and sort it out but had to keep the car for 3 days because it kept failing a test and then they had to fit a new part. The technician asked me how long the warning light had been on so clearly it was a problem which explains why it was still in the service centre on arrival. I was disgusted with the experience that my daughter had suffered with her first major car purchase so I emailed both Saad and Reda and said that they should offer her compensation for all the problems. Neither of them bothered to get back to me so a week later I chased again and still no response so I called and asked for Saad the manager, they said he would call me back but I have never received a call which for a sales manager is absolutely appalling. On the day I collected the car I gave Reda details for my sons Audi A3 which is due for change shortly and he said he would get back to me with a price on a new one and a second hand one, I never heard back. They even had the cheek to say that I would get a survey from Audi and anything less than a 5 was not good, well I can assure them that a 1 would be pushing it and I will be complaining to Group 1. In the future I will stick to Stratstone Audi where I have never had any problems and where my son will now get his new car.
