Car viewing and plus test drive.
We viewed and tested a ford focus estate on friday the 9th and paid a 10% deposit (295). On reflection we should of made a decision over the weekend because after thinking about it we came to a the conclusion that there were too many issues with the car for the money. Main issue was the engine oil light came on and engine was very ticky. We felt that this was brushed off. So we changed our minds over the weekend and I wrang Monday morning (12th may) to explain but was told no return of deposit. Now i no this is dealer discretion they don’t have to return it but 300 is a bit rich. This was never mentioned during the selling although i believe it does depend on discretion. I can’t comment on the dealership other than this because i have no other knowledge of them, but ppl need to be aware of this wen buying a used car from here. We.are not too pleased we potentially lost £300 but a on a plus its better that than a bill of thousands for another engine if it had gone bang after their said 3 months warranty.
