If you believe the positive reviews for Sherwood Hall Garage, you were born yesterday. I bought a car from the oily guy. Constant problems with an issue that he promised had been fixed. It hadn't. I took it back for him to finally fix it and he put me off saying it had to go away for repair and would take a while. I then got a voicemail saying he would return my money and a cheque would arrive within two weeks. I wish I had recorded the voicemail. In the meantime, he DUMPED IT ON A STREET!! I then got a fine through the post from the DVLA for failing to dispose of a car correctly. To this day, I do not know what happened to the car. This is a true story. You have been warned!! When I attempted a small claims court claim, his "legal team" got every attempt thrown out. I could not get a solicitor to take the case on I am afraid. I have written my £1,000 off as a bad experience (yes it was a budget car when I was skint). I seek solace in the fact that Karma will bite him back. He got aggressive with me in front of my child. Never ever buy a car from this man. He openly admitted to me when gloating, that he buys duff cars on eBay and flips them to "muppets" after covering problems up. I have owned over a dozen cars and never felt the need to take to forums about any of them.
