Poor- please avoid

I purchased a used vehicle from the Vauxhall site in Hartlepool and have experienced constant issues from day one. The sales rep, Gary, mis-sold the vehicle, assuring me it was in great condition. When the car arrived, it had holes in the roof lining, scratches on the paintwork, a cracked media screen, feet marks on the roof, and a fault with the clutch. I first notified them about the clutch issue on 17th December, just weeks after taking delivery. Despite raising this early, the fault was not properly resolved. The vehicle has been in for repairs twice, but now the clutch issue has worsened. They are refusing to take responsibility, demanding £360 just to investigate the fault, and are stating I may have to pay for the clutch repair if it’s not covered under warranty — even though the fault was reported within the first month of ownership. They’ve ignored multiple emails, failed to return promised calls, and now — less than six months since purchase — are denying responsibility. This is unacceptable and clearly goes against the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which states that a vehicle must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. Under this law, I am entitled to have faults that were present at the time of purchase repaired at no cost within the first six months unless the seller can prove otherwise. The way this situation has been handled is extremely disappointing, and I strongly advise others to be very cautious before buying from this dealership.
