Breache of a binding contract

I strongly advise avoiding Arnold Clark if you're expecting your order to be handled professionally or honoured as agreed. I placed a confirmed order in December for a Mazda CX-30 Takumi with an estimated delivery in February. My initial point of contact was Connor, who failed to follow up or schedule the promised test drive. After weeks of being ignored, I was passed to Jamie, who eventually informed me in March that the car would not arrive until June, a full four months late. No apology, no courtesy vehicle, no support. Then, without my consent, my order was cancelled entirely. This decision was made by Bryan, the sales manager, based on a single phone call in which I said I might consider cancelling if they could not help. I never did. No written cancellation, no authorisation, just an internal assumption that I no longer wanted the car. They reassigned my vehicle without notice, breaching a binding contract and leaving me to source a replacement elsewhere, likely at a higher cost. Their communication has been vague throughout, and the handling of this situation has been careless and dismissive. Customer services have been no help either, and to make matters worse, there is still no sign of my £50 deposit being returned.
